Gioberto Zannoni and his son Angelo, winegrower, handle this 9 hectares property that has belonged to the family for 5 generations! Hence, they've just celebrated their 100th anniversary: 1907-2007. The vines are mainly composed of Sangiovese Grosso, also called « Brunello » in Montalcino, with a density of 3000 feet per hectare. Paolo Vagaggini is the domain's oenologist.
La Fortuna remains a strong value in this important appellation: they are systematically ranked among the twelve best producers by specialised international magazines, over a good 250 cellar-owners.
