The winery was founded in 1974 by Giorgio Bianchi, Roberto's father. After his death Roberto took over the reins and produced his first vintage in 2000.
For the Slow Wine guide, the praises do not dry up "Passion, competence, agronomic sensitivity, great dedication with a total respect for the terroir and the environment. This makes it one of our favourite wineries in Tuscany".
Currently Roberto produces 30'000 bottles on 6 hectares of vineyards in Radda in Chianti. This village is located at an altitude of about 500 meters and is becoming a Mecca for Chianti Classico as the climate warms up.
